Product Overview

Use the LITUBO LT-50 Series for wide mining and bulk-material conveyors where metal contamination must be detected without interrupting normal material flow. DSP digital signal processing, differential-coil sensing and product learning help suppress interference from the conveyed material and the belt, while sound-light alarm and relay output support automatic line control.

Typical Applications

• Mining and mineral-processing conveyors
• Coal handling and coal-preparation lines
• Cement and construction-material plants
• Thermal-power fuel conveying systems
• Chemical and other bulk-material production
• Waste treatment and recycling lines

Detection Targets

• Iron and other ferrous metal fragments
• Manganese-steel parts
• Copper contamination
• Aluminum contamination
• Stainless-steel contamination
• Metal pieces mixed into ore, coal and other bulk materials

Working  Principle

A transmitting coil generates a stable electromagnetic detection field. Two receiving coils are arranged as a balanced differential pair with equal and opposite signals. When a metal object enters the field, the balance changes and produces a signal. The controller amplifies and processes this signal, then activates the sound-light alarm and relay control output. Automatic learning, sensitivity and gain settings are used to optimize detection for the actual material and conveyor conditions.

Quotation Reminder

Send us the belt width, conveyor-frame width, maximum material-bed height, material type, mineral grade, belt speed, installation angle, target metal contaminants, required relay/interlock logic and site photos. We will confirm the LT-50 variant, aperture height, mounting dimensions and control configuration before quotation.

Configuration Options

• Select the LT-50 variant according to conveyor-belt width and required aperture height
• Customize installation dimensions to the customer's conveyor-frame width
• Select touch-screen or button-panel operation
• Configure horizontal or multi-angle installation according to the site
• Set relay delay and interlock logic for rejection, magnetic separation or conveyor stop
• Validate sensitivity with the actual material, belt speed and site interference
• Confirm that the mineral grade and application conditions meet the stated operating limit

Line Integration

The LT-50 detection head is installed around the existing belt-conveyor path and can be configured for horizontal or multi-angle mounting. Its split structure reduces conveyor-modification work. When metal is detected, the relay signal can be connected to an alarm, a downstream rejection device, a magnetic-separation process or conveyor-stop control. Final mounting dimensions should be customized to the conveyor-frame width and available site clearance.
